Charles’s background is in Finance, Strategy and Business Planning. Previous jobs include Finance and Systems Director in the US and European Director of Strategy at Mars Snack Foods, where he was employed for 13 years.  For the last decade, he has been running his own consultancy business.  A regular course leader at the Institute of Directors, Charles is also a qualified Accountant and has a Maths degree from Oxford University.

Area of expertise include: Leadership Development, Team Development and Resilience. As well as operating as an experienced Leadership Coach and regular facilitator of our Resilience workshops for leaders and employees, Charles is able to go beyond traditional coaching territory, and help clients to develop winning business plans and strategies.   

He works with businesses of all sizes and in many sectors, including food, pharmaceuticals, retail, sportswear, telecoms, IT and professional services.

Charles is a volunteer Samaritan where he is a trained listener, group leader and mentor. He is a champion for making a difference in the world of work. He is also part of a joint venture producing training materials on the prevention of economic crime; the first product (Bribery Act Now) has been used to train thousands of people worldwide in the UK Bribery Act 2010.
