Before White & Lime, she ran Oak Tree, her own coaching business in Washington DC and London, since 2005. Before that she was Head of Leadership Development for RSA Insurance, having held a range of leadership and strategic HR roles for RSA across UK and Europe over eight years. Her first role after graduating was in research for a Diversity training company. 

Areas of expertise include: Leadership Impact, Stress Resilience, Maternity and Transition Coaching and Executive Team Development. Kate is passionate about helping senior teams to learn to fully trust each other, handle conflict and work well with differences.  She has designed and facilitated over sixty engaging and purposeful team events.

Kate has worked on UK and global assignments for a range of FTSE 250 clients and non-profits including The Allied Irish Bank, Aviva, Air Partner, Landsec, Refinitiv, RSA Insurance, QBE, Thomson Reuters, Freshfields, Reed Smith, Lexis Nexis, Unilever, Porter Novelli, Mullen Lowe, Eatbigfish, Yorkshire Building Society, Football Beyond Borders and Save the Children. 

Kate has a first-class honours degree in Politics from the University of Sussex. She’s a certified professional coach, accredited by the International Coaching Federation since 2005, and CIPD qualified since 2006.  Since 2012, Kate has been a systems coach, having completed extensive training and mentoring in the Organisations, Relationships and Systems Coaching (ORSC) methodology with the Center for Right Relationship. 

State school educated in South East London, Kate has always had a well-informed passion for issues of social mobility and social justice.  Outside of work she volunteers as a Chair of Governors in a state school and she is an active supporter of change agents in her community. She lives in Lewisham with her husband and two daughters.
